ngCFHT Workshop

The ngCFHT workshop will be held at the Moanohoku Event Hall, at the ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center of Hawai’i, an astronomy and cultural education center located in Hilo, Hawaii.

Workshop dinner

A workshop dinner has been scheduled for Thursday, 28 March, 17:15 Cocktails - 17:45 Dinner, at the ‘Imiloa Sky Garden Restaurant. While this event is extended to the workshop participants, please note that accompanying guests will need to cover this expense as indicated in the registration form. A no-host bar will be available.

Workshop lunches

Lunch at the Sky Garden Cafeteria - 'Imiloa Center - Please note that seating is limited at the Sky Garden Cafeteria. If you wish to have lunch at the cafeteria, you will need to make a reservation, before 9am, at the ngCFHT registration desk.

Lodging

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel, located on Hilo Bay, and approximately two miles from Hilo Airport and 3.5 miles from the workshop site. A favorable room rate has been obtained for this event and participants are encouraged to reserve rooms in advance of the 15 March 2013 reservation deadline. Note that after this date the block of rooms will be released and standard rates will apply. To make reservations please fill out the room reservation form and send your request directly to the hotel as indicated in the form.
